Running on all cylinders

I feel like a real schmuck for only posting once or twice a week for the past month, but I've been burning the midnight oil trying to get some more patterns and tutorials together for you all. It's downright crazy how long it takes to write patterns & tutes...I wish I could just download this stuff directly from my brain into a computer. If only this were the Matrix....*sigh* On top of that, I haven't been getting much sleep because my impertinent pup has now trained himself to bark along with my alarm clock, so hitting the snooze button is no longer a luxury I look forward to. It just means 5 minutes of prolonged barking before I can get him to settle down, and by that time I'm 1) wide awake and 2) the snooze alarm is about ready to go off again. It's a vicious cycle of alarms, barking, shushing, and sleep deprivation.

Tomorrow I'm gonna post my first ever pattern in my Etsy shop for the Grab 'n' Go wristlet I designed, and thanks to a suggestion from Kelly, it's gonna include an alternate pattern for a smaller coin purse - woo hoo! And guess what? I'm also gonna be posting a pretty massive giveaway, including a Go! Baby, some fabric, and two handmade items from yours truly ;) It's been a while since I've had a proper giveaway, plus I want to thank you all for sticking around while I've been on a quasi-blogging sabbatical.

I'm also gonna be posting another free tutorial on how to make a quilted hexie coin purse during Kristie's Bag Lady Week. Are you all familiar with Kristie @ OCD? If not, you should be. She's hilarious. And talented. And quite possibly my favorite Canadian (next to Ryan Reynolds, that is).

I feel so humbled and honored to be in the ranks with Ryan Reynolds....I agree, such a hottie! My favorite movie of his: Definitely, Maybe. Have you seen it??

Your Bag Lady Week tute is gonna rock! And can't wait to make my wristlet....oh, Father Time, just grant me a few more hours a day, PLEASE!

How exciting, Kaelin! It sounds like you've been busy, busy.

Gosh you've been busy!!
I'm off to check out Kristie's blog

Keep a squirt bottle next to your bed. As soon as you pup barks, squirt him and say NO. Repeat as snooze alarm continues to go off, and possibly repeat several days in a row. He should get the idea rather quickly and soon you will be able to snooze in peace! :)

I'm looking forward to seeing what your brain has been thinking! :)

Yay Kaelin ... lovely stuff ... yes, the squirt bottle trick works with my cat ... who doesn't bark of course, just jumps loudly round my head ... x

Looking forward to your tutorials, with Sir in background....

Sounds like you have been busy. Look forward to seeing what you've been up to :)

Busy lady! I've been hooked on OCD since you posted about the lovely bag and goodies she sent you a while back. Great blog!

Oh I'm gonna have to check her out...Ryan is pretty much the only reason Canada is on my good list! Lol just kidding.
