Molly Market Tote

I pattern tested my friend Michelle / I Like Orange Too's new Molly Market Tote pattern and it's FABULOUS and soooo easy to make! I finished this last night around 1 a.m. because I had to wait out my family first...once they all fell asleep I was able to sneak off and sew in a semi-lit room like Gollum, lol.

I used a bee print from Echino's new spring line, a teal Echino dot, and a yellow dash print from Michael Miller than reminded me of bees flying :)  I am absolutely in love with the main Echino print...easily my favorite since the other bee print they released back in 2006. Back then I didn't realize fabric had a short shelf life, so I thought I had all the time in the world to buy the yardage I wanted. WRONG. Trust me, not making that mistake this time around!

Can't wait for her to finalize the pattern and share it with the world :)

OH...and here's a picture of our favorite furry friend laying on it this morning. *sigh* I had it sitting on the back of the couch so I could switch out my purse contents, walked away for 2 seconds to grab something for the baby, and when I came back he was laying on it. I get no! When I tried to shoo him off he just turned around and looked at me like "ummm...excuse me...but were you actually attempting to take something out of the house without some of my fur on it? I.don'"

So cute! My Jacque and, especially, Pippen love sitting on the top of the couch cushion like that. They also have no problem just plopping down on whatever might already be lying around. I mean, why do WE keep putting stuff in THEIR way?? Who do WE think is in charge here anyway?!

Very cute bag! Love how it expands!

Oh, that bag is so much fun! Thanks for sharing it!

I was wondering how Whiskers was doing. Thanks for the picture. It reminds me of how my Scottie used to act!

PS...I don't think I ever congratulated you on the new arrival! So happy to hear she arrived safely, even though she was a little early!

For most women, bags may seem to be a part of their everyday lives. It sounds very practical though. This accessory have great significance because of its versatility features. For those people who are always on the go, they might think of buying this useful item every year. Both men and women need bags, however, it is just well known that women use them more than men. For most men, they aren't a big deal. This is somewhat a common argument between a "she" and "he" when they talk about accessories. .
